Project leader Pia Otte is currently visiting our international research partners Marit Kragt at the University of Western Australia (UWA) and Janet Stephenson at the Centre for Sustainability (CSAFE) at the University of Otago. In the beginning of November Marit, Pia and the Ruralis team in Trondheim finalized the farmers’ survey, which has been sent out to 2 000 farmers all over Norway. In a next step, Coolcrowd is planning to conduct a comparative study on the willingness of farmers to participate in crowfunding and climate mitigation practices in Norway, New Zealand and Australia. For this, the project employs two summer students at UWA and CSAFE. Pia will co-supervise the students and assist in the translation of the data collection tools for our Down Under research part during her visit.
